Grow the Gratitude

Hello everyone! I’m back after a two week unplanned break from my blog. It wasn’t my intent to take a break but it was nice to be in the moment. We have kept busy with things; it was nice to not put pressure on myself to push something out that I didn’t like or write something I didn’t feel was good enough.

We are already two weeks into November and I truly can’t believe it. If you are from the USA, you know, in November we celebrate Thanksgiving. We talk about what we are thankful for and show gratitude. We use this time to come together with friends and family at the table.

I’ve decided to start a Grow the Gratitude Tag. Every day for seven days, you post one thing that you are grateful for or how gratitude was shown in your day. To Grow the Gratitude, each day tag a couple people to help it grow. We spend a lot of time always hearing the negativity on the news, social media, or wherever, so let’s make it a little bit more thankful.

  • Have fun
  • Show Gratitude
  • Be sincere
  • Post every day, for seven days, something that you were thankful for that day. It doesn’t have to be elaborate. It can be simple. Or it could be how you showed gratitude to someone or vice versa.
  • Tag a few fellow bloggers to Grow the Gratitude
  • Give a shout out to me, who created the tag and the person who tagged you to join!

Day 1

I’m so grateful to have faith. I love that I have a “home” church. I’ve been apart of the same church for about 23 years. I was confirmed, married, and had my children baptized all in the same place. I’m currently hanging out at my church right now. It is a safe place and it’s a place I don’t mind being in. I’ve had a lot of big moments here.

Atticus has started his first year of religious classes. He has been asking a lot of questions about God. He usually asks if God has made something, like, “did God make pencils?”

I find comfort in my faith. When I’m having a rough time, I find Bible verses that I can relate to. It calms my worry and gives me strength.

To Grow the Gratitude, I’m tagging…

Our Little Red House

This Girl’s Got Curves

And anyone else that’s wants to Grow the Gratitude, can join in and do this tag too!
